our life

Contemplative Charism

Formation of Heart and Intelligence

Contemplative Charism

Our contemplative vocation calls us to a life of silent prayer centered on the mystery of the Eucharist.

We want to follow Saint John the Evangelist in order to take Mary into our home (Jn 19:27) and to be united, with her, to Jesus offering his life to the Father.

Solitude and silence allow us to deepen our personal relationship with Christ and the Virgin Mary.

Fraternal Charity

Formation of Heart and Intelligence

Contemplative Charism

To respond to Jesus' command to love one another as he has loved us,

we strive to live fraternal charity in joy, mutual trust and the gift of ourselves to our sisters.

Our daily community life includes Eucharistic Adoration, Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours, Bible studies, philosophy and theology classes, study groups, sports and recreation.

Formation of Heart and Intelligence

Our contemplative vocation requires a formation of mind and heart. Faithful to the Church's tradition - especially the documents of the Second Vatican Council and the teachings of Saint Thomas Aquinas and of Aristotle - this formation allows us to read the Word of God as a living word and enter profoundly into theology.

We live this search for Wisdom and Truth throughout all the domains of our life, which allows us to cooperate more actively with the life of grace.

Manual Work

In the Heart of the World

Formation of Heart and Intelligence

We live our vow of poverty through our manual work and chores.  Work is an essential part of monastic life and a fundamental dimension of the human person.  Craftwork is an occasion to witness to God through art, beauty and creativity, in today’s world where there is no longer much room for the religious and spiritual dimensions.

In the Heart of the World

Our Community wishes to be a presence of prayer in the heart of the world. Responding to the call of the Church for the New Evangelization, we want to be witnesses of the joy of the Gospel as we participate in certain events according to the needs and requests of the Church.

In our convent, we welcome all those who desire to share the essential aspects of our life: prayer, the Word of God, the search for Wisdom and fraternal charity.
